Q: What are the shelf dimensions?
A: The HomePlus Base Cabinet is 29 5/8" wide x 17" deep x 37 3/8" high.
Q: Can you buy an extra shelf to put in this cabinet?
A: This storage cabinet is safety tested to only accommodate the shelves it originally comes with. Additional shelves are not available for purchase.
Q: What are the overall dimensions of this cabinet?
A: Hi Karen! The Home Plus 2 Door Base Storage Cabinet is 29 5/8" wide x 17" deep x 37 3/8" high.
Q: How tall is the unit when you stack two? I would like to pair it with the HomePlus Storage Cabinet (422425) if the heights will match up.
A: It is approximately 72" high when stacking two HomePlus Base Storage Cabinet.
Q: Is this put together?
A: The HomePlus 2 Door Base Storage Cabinet is ready to assemble with step-by-step instructions. We have assembly tip videos to help along the way. If you have any questions, our friendly team is just a call or message away, eager to assist you.
Q: What is the weight limit on the top shelf? Also, can the cabinet be painted? Thanks!
A: The top of the cabinet can hold up to 50 lbs., the middle adjustable shelf can hold up to 25 lbs., and the bottom can hold up to 50 lbs. We do not recommend painting this cabinet as it could cause issues such as peeling and cracking.
Q: I'd like to switch out the handles to match my other furniture. Are the handles 6inches or 8 inches?
A: The Home Plus Base Cabinet pulls are 8 7/8"; however, the holes to attach the screws are 7 1/2" apart.
Q: How does the "stacking" work? Is the base unit also used for the upper/top unit, with an assembly modification of the bottom/base? Or is there another unit needed for the "top"? Thank you!
A: Two HomePlus Base Cabinets may be stacked by removing the skirts on the upper cabinet. Next, fasten the bottom of the upper cabinet to the lower cabinet's top using long 1" pan head screws included. The holes are partially predrilled in the underside of the lower top and will need to use a little extra force while turning these screws. It's important to also note when the cabinets are stacked, they must be positioned against a wall with the upper cabinet attached to the wall.
Q: What other finishes does this cabinet come in? Also, I would like this in a cabinet about 12" deep. Do you have that?
A: The HomePlus Base Cabinet is available in the Dakota Oak and Sienna Oak finishes. Currently, it is only available in 17" deep.
