Q: Can I omit the shelves on one side of it?
A: Hi Matt. Model 419636 Sauder Storage Cabinet has a fixed top shelf that must be assembled. There are four adjustable shelves, two on each side of the center divider below the fixed shelf, that are optional to place in the cabinet.
Q: Why can't we see this unit with both doors open?
A: Hi Robert! The 360-view feature lets you explore the cabinet from every angle, giving you a complete look at the design and details. It also provides an interactive view of the functionality, allowing you to see the doors open and close so you can better visualize how the cabinet will look and operate in your space.
Q: What are the formaldehyde emissions of this product? Is it TSCA Title VI or CARB Phase 2 compliant, made of NAF or ULEF MDF, etc.
A: All products manufactured at Sauder Woodworking Co. meet strict regulations limiting the amount of allowable formaldehyde. We are in compliance with the EPA TSCA Title VI regulating formaldehyde emissions from particleboard.
Q: Can you get extra shelves
A: Hi Nate. Thanks for reaching out! Unfortunately, extra shelves are not available for this cabinet.
Q: can it be used with only top shelf so to store mops and brooms below.
A: Hi Kim! You can certainly keep the adjustable shelves out. The space from the bottom to the top shelf is 53 1/8" high, 13 3/4" wide, and 15 5/8" deep.
Q: Is the material able to be painted?

Q: What is the weight limit of each shelve?@
A: The top and bottom shelves are rated for 50lbs each, the adjustable shelves are rated for 25lbs each.
Q: can a hanging rod be installed
A: Hi Claudia! The Sauder Select 2 Door Storage Cabinet has not been tested or designed with a hanging rod. I am sorry it's not recommended to add a rod to this cabinet. Q: I see that a restraint kit is included, but is it NECESSARY to mount this to the wall, or is it safe to stand on its own (assuming I follow weight limits for shelves)?
A: Sauder recommends attaching the furniture tipping restraint kit to the cabinet and the wall.

A: The Sauder Select 2 Door Storage Cabinet is made from engineered wood which is a combination of high-quality hard wood and soft wood residuals of other lumber processes.

A: The Sauder Select 2 Door Storage Cabinet has 4 adjustable shelves. These can be removed on one side for additional storage.

A: The Sauder Select Storage Cabinet comes with two doors and four adjustable shelves. This is not designed with drawers. I recommend the 420495 Sauder Select Wardrobe which includes two drawers.

A: The Sauder Select Storage Cabinet has four adjustable shelves. These shelves are positioned on each side of the upright which is located in the middle. The upper top shelf is the full width of the interior.

A: The back of the storage cabinet is unfinished. The cabinet is intended to be placed near a wall.

A: The Sauder Select Storage Cabinet can hold up to 50 lbs. on the bottom, up to 25 lbs. on each adjustable shelf, and up to 50 lbs. on the upper fixed shelf. We do not recommend placing any weight on the top.
Q: Can I mount this to my wall ?
A: The Sauder Select Storage Cabinet has a furniture tipping restraint kit included. The cabinet is designed to be placed directly on the floor near a wall.

A: The Sauder Select Storage Cabinet has pulls that are attached with two screws. The distance between the holes is 3 3/4".
Q: Can you give me the inside dimensions of the cubicles?
A: The upper portion behind the doors on the 419636 Storage Cabinet is 11 1/8" high x 28" wide x 15 5/8" deep. The lower portion behind the doors is 53 1/8" high x 28" wide x 15 5/8" deep. The four adjustable shelves included can be set at various heights.

2-Year Limited Warranty
1. Sauder Woodworking Co. (Sauder®) provides limited warranty coverage to the original purchaser of this product for a period of two years from the date of purchase against defects in materials or workmanship of Sauder furniture components. As used in this Warranty, “defect” means imperfections in components which substantially impair the utility of the product. This Warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.
2. There is no warranty coverage for defects or conditions that result from the failure to follow product assembly instructions, information or warnings, misuse or abuse, intentional damage, fire, flood, alteration or modification of the product, or use of the product in a manner inconsistent with its intended use, nor any condition resulting from incorrect or inadequate maintenance, cleaning, or care. There is also no warranty coverage for rented products or any products purchased “used” or “as is”, at a distress or going-out-of business sale, or from a liquidator.
3. As the exclusive remedy under this Warranty, Sauder will (at its sole option) repair or replace any defective furniture component. Sauder may require independent confirmation of the claimed defect and proof of purchase. Replacement parts will be warranted for only the remaining period of the original Warranty. SAUDER SHALL HAVE NO LIABILITY for ANY INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OF ANY KIND and all such damages are EXCLUDED FROM THIS WARRANTY, such as loss of use, disassembly, transportation, labor or damage to property on or near the product. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.
4. This Warranty applies only to warranted defects that first arise and are reported to Sauder within the warranty coverage period. The Warranty cannot be transferred to subsequent owners or users of the product, and it shall be immediately void in the event the product is resold, transferred, leased or rented to any third party or person other than the original purchaser.
5. THERE ARE NO OTHER WARRANTIES APPLICABLE TO THIS PRODUCT. Under the laws of certain states, there may be no implied warranties from Sauder and all implied warranties, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE are disclaimed where allowed by law.
