Q: Can you deliver shelves assembled
A: Hi Bonnie. Thanks for the question! Our products do require full assembly and cannot be delivered assembled.
Q: Does warranty cover any damage caused during your delivery of the product
A: Hi Dee, thank you for your inquiry! We understand things happen during shipping, so our warranty cover free replacement parts for any parts that may arrive damaged. If an item is extremely damaged, we will work with you regarding a replacement.
Q: How much weight can each shelf hold
A: Hi! Thank you for contacting us. Each adjustable shelf can hold up to 30 pounds, the fixed middle shelf up to 40 pounds, and the bottom up to 50 pounds.
Q: Can you put the three tier bookshelf on top of the five tier bookshelf with doors to make it go to the ceiling?
A: Hi Naadaa, thank you for reaching out. We do not recommend stacking the bookcases, as they have not been safety tested for that configuration.
Q: What is the depth?
A: The Sauder Select 5 Shelf Bookcase is 13 1/4" deep x 35 1/4" wide x 69 3/4" high.
Q: Will this go okay with my Sauder Affirm classic Cherry Desk?
A: Hi Lisa! The Select Cherry finish and the Classic Cherry finish share a lot of similarities, but they do have their unique touches. One of the key differences lies in the grain patterns. While both finishes offer a rich, warm cherry hue, the Select Cherry finish tends to have more refined and straight grain patterns. On the other hand, the Classic Cherry finish has both straight and curvy grains. Both pieces would complement each other.
Q: The Via and Sauder Select bookcases appear to be very similar, but with a significant price difference. What is the difference? What's the advantage of Via?
A: The prices vary between collections because of the different finishes, components, and manufacturing processes involved.
Q: I have a couple Sauder bookshelves that I purchased from Office Depot about 10 years ago. They were in Carolina Oak which is no longer available. Is Vintage Oak similar in color to Carolina Oak?

Q: Tested to meet ANSI/SOHO quality standards for safety and performance?
A: The 410367 5 Shelf Bookcase was tested and met all of the requirements for ANSI/SOHO. This standard has also changed to ANSI/BIFMA. All of the requirements were met for this standard as well.
Q: What is depth of shelves?
A: The Sauder Select 5 Shelf Bookcase is 13 1/4" deep overall. The depth of the shelves is 11".
Q: Hello I was wondering, can I place a 12 inches(height)book in it? What is the maximum height of a book that can fit into the bookcase?
A: The Sauder Select 5 Shelf Bookcase has 3 adjustable shelves that can be set at various heights. The lower section is 24 3/8" high. The upper section is 38 1/8" high.

Q: Is the back made of the same wood composite as the shelves and frame? Or is it just a sheet of matching cardboard?
A: The Sauder Select 5-Shelf Bookcase is made from engineered wood which is a combination of high-quality hard wood and soft wood residuals of other lumber processes. This bookcase has a paperboard back.
Q: Is this shelf made in a corner shelf model as well? I am trying to put book cases around the walls of a whole room.
A: The 5 Shelf Bookcase is not available in as a corner model.
Q: How tall and wide?

5-Year Limited Warranty
1. Sauder Woodworking Co. (Sauder®) provides limited warranty coverage to the original purchaser of this product for a period of five years from the date of purchase against defects in materials or workmanship of Sauder furniture components. As used in this Warranty, “defect” means imperfections in components which substantially impair the utility of the product. This Warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.
2. There is no warranty coverage for defects or conditions that result from the failure to follow product assembly instructions, information or warnings, misuse or abuse, intentional damage, fire, flood, alteration or modification of the product, or use of the product in a manner inconsistent with its intended use, nor any condition resulting from incorrect or inadequate maintenance, cleaning, or care. There is also no warranty coverage for rented products or any products purchased “used” or “as is”, at a distress or going-out-of business sale, or from a liquidator.
3. As the exclusive remedy under this Warranty, Sauder will (at its sole option) repair, replace or refund the value of any defective furniture component. Sauder may require independent confirmation of the claimed defect and proof of purchase. Replacement parts will be warranted for only the remaining period of the original Warranty. SAUDER SHALL HAVE NO LIABILITY for ANY INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OF ANY KIND and all such damages are EXCLUDED FROM THIS WARRANTY, such as loss of use, disassembly, transportation, labor or damage to property on or near the product. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.
4. This Warranty applies only to warranted defects that first arise and are reported to Sauder within the warranty coverage period. The Warranty cannot be transferred to subsequent owners or users of the product, and it shall be immediately void in the event the product is resold, transferred, leased or rented to any third party or person other than the original purchaser.
5. THERE ARE NO OTHER WARRANTIES APPLICABLE TO THIS PRODUCT. Under the laws of certain states, there may be no implied warranties from Sauder and all implied warranties, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE are disclaimed where allowed by law. TO THE EXTENT ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES ARE APPLICABLE, ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ARE LIMITED IN DURATION TO THE DURATION OF THIS EXPRESS WARRANTY or the minimum period allowed by law, whichever is shorter. Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied Warranty lasts, so the above limitation may not apply to you.
